Mass Excavation is Substantially Complete for the New Stanford Hospital

September 17th, 2013

NSH Excavation_webpageThis week marked a major milestone for the New Stanford Hospital project—mass excavation of the 824,000 square foot new hospital facility is substantially complete.

Following the New Stanford Hospital groundbreaking in May 2013, excavation began on the former site of Parking Structure 3 and the offices at 1101 Welch Road to a final depth of approximately 35 feet.

More than 200,000 cubic yards of dirt has been removed from the site. At its peak, a line of trucks could be seen on the site with a truck coming or going from the site every 90 seconds.

Congratulations to the NSH Team!
