Construction to affect hospital routes, parking as of Sept 2, 2013
September 24th, 2013
As we build the future Stanford Hospital, several changes in parking, traffic and pedestrian routes will be in effect.
Stanford Hospital & Clinics has changed our pricing policies for visitor parking. Effective Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, the Pasteur Visitor Garage will move to hourly rates and valet pricing will increase for visits longer than one hour. The new parking rates are listed below. We encourage patients to park in the underground Pasteur Visitor Garage. See the map included for location of this garage.
For patients and visitors to the Blake Wilbur Clinics, the Advanced Medicine Center/Cancer Center and the Ambulatory Surgery Center, access to Blake Wilbur Drive will now be from Welch Road.
Parking for these Blake Wilbur Drive programs is Valet Only. Please do choose this service. And tipping of the Valets is not expected.
Patients should allow extra time to reach the hospital during this time.
Medi-Cal patients can receive free parking at the Pasteur Visitor Garage by showing their valid Medi-Cal card and appointment sheet to the cashier upon exit from the garage. This does not apply to valet.
Patients with appointments at the Cancer Center can receive validation for free self-parking in the Pasteur Visitor Garage upon check-in for their appointment.
