Tree Work on Welch Road to Occur Thursday Night (9/26)
September 24th, 2013
In order to preserve the health of the new oak trees planted on Welch Road, fungicide will be applied to the trees during off hours beginning at 11:59 pm on Thursday, September 26. The work is expected to take four hours to complete.
During this time, pedestrians are advised to avoid Welch Road between Quarry Road and Pasteur Drive and use an alternate route to the hospitals. Pedestrian detours will be in place around the active work sites as needed. The type of treatment used requires no dissipation and no impacts are anticipated inside of the hospitals.
Thank you for your patience while we perform this necessary tree maintenance.
