Hoover Pavilion Modernization Wins 2013 Structures Award for Best Reuse/Rehabilitation Project

October 1st, 2013

Hoover1_awardThe Hoover Pavilion modernization has been awarded the Silicon Valley Business Journal’s “2013 Structures Award for Best Reuse/Rehabilitation project”. The awards were announced at the annual Structures event, which recognizes the very best in Silicon Valley real estate, construction and development.

Since the 1930s, this pre-World War II art deco building has served the Palo Alto community. Originally constructed as Palo Alto Hospital, the Pavilion later served as a primary care medical office building. The Pavilion’s restoration honors the landmark structure’s place in the legacy of clinical and community care at Stanford and has made the building once again a source of community pride. Congratulations to the Hoover Pavilion team!
